"Tenacious trader sidesteps rocky resources to take out the round

Shares whiz Peter Mathers has snatched victory from astrologer Doreen Daze and trounced the market in one of the  most nail-biting rounds of our share race.

Both lost ground in the past week but undoubtedly the world's most frustrated day trader – Peter couldn't change his selections – was able to hold on to more. Neither picked the best stock, which was iiNet – chosen by somebody who is in no position to gloat so lets move on.

An average $100,00 with 10 stocks on the day of the race started would have shrunk to $98,680 four weeks later. Peter did $3202 better in a corrective market with Materials and Finance lower.

The share market has been spooked by weak growth in the US and China and plunging gold prices.

Hardest hit were resource stocks which our winner had the good sense to avoid altogether.

Others who chose anything with a gold connection paid the price.

Doreen led the race until the home straight with World Titanium Resources, which deserted her as the miners collapsed. It didn't even feature in the top-10 stocks.

Third place was taken by Chris Malkin, who once again switched spots with Dadvid Joyner – but both underperformed the market."

Results for our Daily Robo trading System for CFDs

This is a simple trading system that has all the trading rules build it, that is, entry, stop, trailing stop and exit.

IMPORTANT NOTES TO VIEW RESULTS
All trades are 1,000 CFDs. 
It is important to understand there would be a difference is results between a small price stock and a large priced stock when using a set 1,000 CFDs per trade.
Deposit margins requirements for each share CFD is different and will also impact on these figures.
Slippage for these results also needs to taken into account.
The results are based on the Basic DRS2 and not the Advanced DRS2 which has advanced money management rules based on trading tactics caused by price action and can produce better results.
